My father used to tell me a story of few Indian kings in early nineties. They used to be very fond of cricket, just to please their actual English rulers. They might not be knowing much about cricket or even not a good player but they keep them self’s busy in organizing cricket matches. Whenever they go to batting bowler used to be slow and outside the off stumps so that King can hit that as hard as he can. If in case any catch is there fielders used to drop it. If ball automatically stopping before boundary line fielders make sure that King will at least run 3 runsJ. Even after all this is not helping King that many times Kings names has been replaced by the player who scored maximum runs. This was the situation and story of 1920s, 1930s and 1940s.
Now the story of 21st centaury of India.
Scene 1.
Sugarcane farmers agitating last few months regarding the price hike which they say is very low.
Scene 2.
Govt of India like other problems in no mood to address as usual after all they are wining all the elections without solving any issues.
Scene 3.
Farmers took street mainly with the support of opposition leaders and Govt which is till now able to divide the opposition caught napping. Yesterday neither Parliament worked nor the Delhi. It was chaos all over the place. It has been widely assumed that Govt policy is wrong and even not wrong at least farmers are against it.
Whole day media keep showing farmers and opposition leaders doing protests and other related information. Govt has to bow under pressure from farmers and other opposition leaders.
Scene 4.
But How come this whole story can finish until the Great Hero of Gandhi family do not contribute to it.
By the evening the news flashes in all the media channel that PM assured Mr Rahul Gandhi to review the sugar cane issue. All the farmers and opposition leaders who were sweating all around Delhi to take up this issue and Credit has been given to Rahul Gandhi as if he is the one who led all the protest in favor of farmers.
That’s how national leaders has been created in our Democracy, out of nothing.
